We have listings of every event on each day, along with who to contact to join in or get more details. You can also find prices, age ranges, details of what goes on at each event, and links to individual pages for each event where you can see more information and photographs.

Harvest Supper

with a Generation Game theme!

The evening starts at 7pm, and costs £5.00 for adults and £1.00 for children, with pasties served at 9pm.

Followed by our Harvest Festival Service on 17th September

Weekly Calendar

Sunday:

Church service at Trinity Methodist, Bolton

Church service. We love a good hymn 🙂

10.30 am – 11.30 am – Morning service

6.00 pm – 7 pm – Evening service

We’d love to welcome you to our Sunday services, where we have visits from local preachers, as well as sermons from our own minister, Carolyn Lawrance.

And after our morning service, we have tea and coffee served in the coffee lounge, with plenty of time to chat and relax.

 

Monday:

1.30 pm – 3.30pm – Sequence Dancing

Join us for old time and modern sequence dancing, every Monday in the main hall. Anyone can come along and subs are £2.50.

7.00 pm – 8.30 pm – Boys Brigade

Weekly, for ages from 5 – 19 years, with Anchor Boys for the younger children earlier in the evening and Senior Company later in the evening for the older ones from 8 years plus.

Tuesday:

2.00 pm – 3.00 pm or later – Tonge Fold Carer’s Group

Second Tuesday of the month.

Carer’s group has been running for 27 years, providing support and a break for anyone giving their time to care for someone. We also welcome ex-carers and have people in the group at all stages.

Wednesday:

1.30 pm – 3-3.15 pm – Tonge Fold Local History Group

Meetings every week to discuss local and general history, with talks and visits.

7.45 pm – 10.00 pm – Wednesday Women’s Group

A fortnightly group with a variety of events for women of any age. Our plan for this year includes everything from tea tasting to wildlife in the garden, and we’d be delighted to see you there.

7.30 pm – 10.30 pm – Snooker Group

We have two full-sized, professional snooker tables and we’d love to welcome you to the group for friendly matches.

Thursday:

5.45 pm – 6.45 pm – 69th Bolton Rainbows Unit

A weekly group for girls aged 5 – 7 years, with fun and games, crafts and more.

7.30 pm – 10.00 pm – Bolton Camera Club

We meet every week to share our love of photography, with days out, the chance to enter competitions and exhibit your work, along with interesting and entertaining speakers on a variety of subjects to help you improve.

6.30 pm – 8.00 pm – Brownies

Lots of fun weekly for girls aged 7 – 10 years, with badge work, games and learning in a fun environment.

Join in every week with the Guides group, for girls aged 10 – 14 years. Guides can work on a variety of badges from photography to sewing, with fun and games.
